Our Beliefs

  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the living, infallible, and everlasting rule of faith and conduct and is superior to conscience and reason.

    (2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4; Isaiah 55:11; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Isaiah 55:11)

  • The Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and The Holy Spirit.

    (John; 1:1-5; Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:4-6; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

  • Man was created by God who said, “Let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness.” But man, by

disobedience to the instruction of God, fell, and his only hope of redemption now was in Jesus Christ the Son of God.

    (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)

  • Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:24; John 3:3) On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind (Psalm 103:3), being justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. For by grace we have been saved through faith. (Ephesians 2:8) “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart; that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” (Romans 10:8-10)

  • Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, baptism is a public declaration of our new life as we pursue sanctification and become Christ like in our behavior and actions. It is also a step of obedience based on God’s commands and allows us to follow the example of Jesus, who submitted himself to baptism to “fulfill all righteousness (Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:18-20

  • “And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, ‘This is my body which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.’ In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.’ Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup".” (1 Corinthians 11:24-25, 28)

  • The Holy Spirit is considered the third person of the Trinity, He is seen as fully God, equal in power and glory to the Father and the Son. He is our comforter/counselor and a guide for believers. He empowers believers to live a life pleasing to God and to carry our God’s will. He bestows spiritual gifts to equip believers to serve God and others. He guides believers into truth and helps them understand God’s Word. The Holy Spirit convicts believers of sin, prompting repentance and turning them toward God. He intercedes for believers in prayer, both for their needs and for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

    (John 14:16-17; John 14:26; Acts 1:8;1; Corinthians 2:10-11; Romans 15:13)

  • The full consummation of the Baptism of believers on the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service.

    (Acts 2:4; Acts 19:6)

  • The body of Christ, encompassing all believers who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, and assemble a common place, for worship, ministry, outreach and fellowship. Acts 12:27; Matthew 18:20

  • In Isaiah 53:5, the Hebrew word for “healed” is sozo which means, “to save” and “to heal.” Jesus died on the cross to deliver us from our sin and took stripes on his back for our healing. 1 Peter 2:24

  • Through the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross, we can love whole, healthy, and successful lives in every area.

    1. Spiritual (John 3:3, Romans 10:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; John 14:16-17)

    2. Mental & Emotional (Isaiah 26:3; 2 Timothy 1:7; Romans 2:24)

    3. Physical (Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24)

    4. Financial (Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 34:10, 84:11; Malachi 3:10; Proverbs 3:9-10)

  • Jesus Christ will physically return to earth for the second time to establish His authority on earth. No one knows the day or the hour of this.

    (Matthew 24:30; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8; Revelation1:7)

  • Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead. The devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and anyone whose name is not found written in the Book of Life, shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

    (Revelation 19:20; 20:10-15)

  • God instituted Monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family, the basic structure of human society. (Genesis 2:24) The Bible recognizes marriage as exclusively the legal union of one man and one women. (Titus 1:6) Other sexual activities, such as fortification, adultery, homosexual activity, pornography, and efforts to alter one’s biological gender, are sinful and incompatible with Christian behavior.

    (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:26-27)

  • Man was created as an eternal being and will exist either eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through salvation provided by Jesus Christ.

    (Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:20, 25:34, 41; Mark 9:43-48; John 3:16, 36; Romans 6:23; Hebrews 9:27, 11:16; 1 John 2:25; 5:11-13; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8)
